Thin Film Applications in Nanotechnology
Dr. Alex Axelevitch, Senior Lecturer in faculty of Engineering in HIT
December 16, 2015 | 15:00 | Building 8, Auditorium 400
Abstract
Increasing miniaturization of devices, components, and integrated systems leads to development the microelectronic and optoelectronic elements with very low dimensions. However, sizes decreasing bring us to the novel technologies, nanotechnologies, and novel properties related with dimensions: photonic and plasmonic effects.
Technological methods based on thin films and various application of these technologies developed in the Microelectronics and Thin Films Laboratory of our HIT will be considered in the present lecture. Much attention will be paid to the novel alternative energy sources and to the bio-electronic application of nanotechnologies.
