HIT Holon Institute of Technology bestows honorary degrees upon prominent Israeli public figures in a festive annual ceremony.

Honorary degrees and lifetime achievement awards are awarded to public figures, men and women, who left their mark in the fields of academia, society and industry and who succeeded in bringing about a change and commitment to keep pursuing development and innovation.

HIT is proud of each and every one of the recipients of the honorary degrees and is forever grateful for the great privilege of awarding a lifetime achievement award to the late President of Israel, Mr. Shimon Peres, who participated in the ceremony in 2016 shortly before he passed away.

The tradition of bestowing Honorary Degrees reflects the vision and mission of HIT to continue honoring outstanding figures in academia, society and science, for their relentless efforts and work for the benefit of the State of Israel at large.
