Special Certificate of Recognition from Rotary International to HIT

The event commemorated 120 years of International Rotary, dedicated to honoring academic institutions in Israel for their contribution to the community, society, and the development of technological innovation.
HIT has worked over the years to create meaningful connections between academia, industry, and society, with a vision to promote scientific and technological innovation alongside a deep commitment to social responsibility. The Institute promotes collaborations with leading organizations, supports social entrepreneurship, and operates various programs that involve students in impactful community projects.
Professor Eduard Yakubov, President of HIT, thanked Rotary for the recognition and said: "This recognition strengthens our commitment to continue combining academic excellence with community contribution. HIT has set its goal to lead not only in research and teaching but also in making a significant contribution to Israeli society. We will continue to act, innovate, and contribute through education, technological entrepreneurship, and social projects."
The event was held in the presence of Rotary Israel senior officials, representatives of academic institutions, and leaders from the business and social community. HIT Holon Institute of Technology will continue to serve as a center for innovation and social contribution, as part of its vision to lead and maintain a strong and prosperous Israel.
