He also works to promote international collaborations in health, agriculture, education, and water sectors.

Future Vision for Engineering Education

Professor Menipaz outlined a comprehensive approach to modernizing engineering education through three key strategies:

  1. Project-Focused Learning
The faculty will prioritize hands-on, project-based teaching methodologies that provide students with practical experience. This approach aims to bridge theoretical knowledge with real-world application.
  2. Technology Integration
Artificial intelligence technologies will be increasingly incorporated into the curriculum, ensuring students are equipped with cutting-edge technological skills relevant to modern engineering challenges.
  3. Industry-Academia Collaboration
A critical focus will be strengthening connections between academic institutions and industrial partners. By fostering closer ties with the technological community, the program seeks to create more meaningful pathways from education to professional practice.
Strategic Infrastructure Development

To support these goals, Professor Menipaz proposed constructing a new dedicated building that will serve as a center of innovation. This facility would provide a dedicated space for students and faculty to collaborate, research, and develop groundbreaking engineering solutions.

The appointment of Prof. Ehud Menipaz heralds a new era of innovation and excellence, embodying the Holon Institute of Technology's (HIT) unwavering commitment to advancing engineering and industrial domains both in Israel and internationally.
