Chairman of the World Zionist Organization, Visits HIT

HIT Holon Institute of Technology's management, led by President Prof. Eduard Yakubov, hosted World Zionist Organization Chairman Yaakov Hagoel for an official visit. Mr. Hagoel was accompanied by Ms. Gila Assayag.

HIT's team included CEO Mr. Shmuel Goldberg, Vice President for Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Internationalization Dr. Refael Barkan, and HIT's CMO Hadas Asaf.


The guests and their hosts conducted an in-depth discussion on topics of innovation, technological entrepreneurship, and potential collaborations between the World Zionist Organization and HIT. Ways to strengthen the connection between Diaspora Jewry and HIT in the fields of technology, design, and education were also discussed.


Prof. Eduard Yakubov said: "The values that guide HIT naturally align with the mission of the World Zionist Organization. We work to promote technological and social innovation and strengthen the connection between Israel and Diaspora Jewry. I believe that together we can create partnerships that will empower the young generation of world Jewry."

The guests were given a tour of the Institute's campus where they visited innovative laboratories, introduced to advanced study programsand initiatives combining technology, education, and sustainability.


HIT will continue to create collaborations with leading organizations in Israel and worldwide that promote education, innovation, and the strengthening of Zionist values.
