Austrian Ambassador to Israel Visits HIT
Prof. Eduard Yakubov, President of HIT, hosted the Austrian Ambassador to Israel, H.E. Nikolaus Lutterotti, in his first visit to HIT.

The ambassador was accompanied by Ms. Lara Stock, Second Secretary at the Embassy and Director of the Austrian Cultural Forum.
The delegation was welcomed by Dr. Refael Barkan, Vice President for Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Internationalization, Ms. Ira Ivshin Guetta, Manager of International Partnerships and Programs, and Mrs. Tony Levy, Head of External Relations in the President's Office.
In his welcome speech, HIT President Prof. Eduard Yakubov emphasized the importance of international collaborations: "The Institute's vision focuses on promoting innovation and entrepreneurship while strengthening ties with leading countries like Austria. I am confident that this visit will lead to new and fruitful initiatives on both sides," said Prof. Yakubov.
The Austrian Ambassador Nikolaus Lutterotti expressed his gratitude for the reception and said: "I was impressed by HIT's remarkable technological capabilities and its significant impact in the fields of health and technology. Our collaboration can serve as a foundation for innovations that will benefit both sides."
During the visit, the delegation visited the Institute's innovative laboratories, including the Living Lab, MADE Lab, and XRH Lab, where technological projects combining research and applied development were showcased.
The visit concluded with a mutual desire to promote collaboration in areas such as technological innovation, student and faculty exchanges, and the development of joint programs with leading institutions in Austria.
HIT continues to lead international collaborations, strengthening its position as a leading center for innovation and technology.
