Dr. Ilan Goldfajn, former President of the Central Bank of Brazil, visited HIT
Dr. Ilan Goldfajn, until recently President of the Central Bank of Brazil, visited HIT upon invitation from Prof. Eduard Yakubov, President of HIT.

Dr. Goldfajn received last year an Honorary Degree from HIT during the 2018 Graduation Ceremony. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from MIT and a Master's degree in Economics from the Catholic University of Rio. He is considered one of the leading and most appreciated economy experts in Brazil and worldwide. He was a senior lecturer in leading universities and has many publications under his name.
The guest and his father, Mr.Joseph Givon, were welcomed by Prof. Eduard Yakubov, President of HIT, Mr. Samuel Goldberg HIT's CEO, Mr. Ilya Levi, In charge of special projects at HIT's president's office and Mrs. Tony Levy, External Relations Officer , HIT's President's office.

At HIT, Dr. Goldfajn visited the 3D printing Lab headed by Erez Sherman, the Faculty of Design workshops, the Robotics Center headed by Dr. Yakov Damatov and The Cyber Center headed by Dr. Harel Menashri. He heard about the latest projects at the faculty of Instructional Technologies and visited the exhibitions at the "Vitrina Gallery".

International Week of Interdisciplinary Studies and Academic Collaborations in Crete
