Memorandum of Understanding signed between Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, Ukraine and HIT

Prof. Valerii Semenets, Rector of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, Ukraine and Prof. Eduard Yakubov, President of HIT, had signed today an MOU for the development of academic cooperation.
This MOU reflects both institutions' interests in the field of higher education and is a major contribution to the international cooperation between HIT and KNURE, which are both interested in promoting joint faculty and scholar activities.
The delegation from Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics included also Prof.Sergii Sakalo, Dean of the Faculty of Information Radio Technologies and Technical Information Security , Mrs.Tatiana Tkachova, Director of the International office, Mrs.Olena Poliakova, Engineer of the research department.

Both institutions have agreed to promote the following issues as part of their collaboration:
- Student exchange programs (for undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate students);
- Staff mobility (internships for the teachers and professors, guest lecture exchange, etc.);
- Conducting Joint Scientific researches and conferences
- Erasmus+ programs
Prof. Yakubov said that he sees this occasion as a bridge to the advancement of the important ties between KNRUE and HIT that will benefit both institutions and that reflect HIT's agenda to develop and maintain academic collaborations with similar institutions worldwide.
The guests visited some of HIT's research centers and labs as well as the "Intersection" multi-disciplinary exhibition at the "Vitrina" gallery at HIT.
KNRUE has 6000 students in 7 faculties which teach the following topics:
- Computer technologies and intellectualization;
- Information radio technologies and technical information security;
- Biomedical engineering;
- Computer-aided design and diagnostics of computer systems and Networks;
- Telecommunication technologies, systems and networks;
- Micro- and nanotechnologies, nanophysics;
- Electromagnetic compatibility;
- Information and geographic information technologies and systems;
- Automated systems for data collection, processing, transmission and Control;
- Radars, communication and navigation.
