Uzbekistan Deputy Governor, Samarkand Region, visited HIT

Mr. Ibragimov Nozir, charged with localization of production and expansion of cooperative connection with industry, visited HIT as a distinguished guest of President Eduard Yakubov.

He was particularly interested in learning about commercialization of academic knowhow, as carried out by AYTT, HIT’s TTO company.

Mr. Ibragimov also took the time to learn about students from Samarkand who are completing their Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics at HIT.

During his visit, Mr. Ibragimov toured the Institute and visited, among other places, the Robotics Center, the 3D Printing Center and the Living Lab, an innovative facility focusing on the development of homecare health technology with a special emphasis on the elderly.
