Professor Shaopei Lin from at the Institute of Engineering Management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University
Prof. Shaopei Lin, Senior professor, at the Institute of Engineering Management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University was invited to HIT as a guest of Prof. (Emeritus) Eugene Levner, from the Faculty of Sciences and lectured about "The Development Tendency of Project Management under Digital Internet Era".

In the first part of the lecture he talked about two types of economy and its characteristics, the concept of Knowledge Economy and subversive impacts to PM. Then he went on to talk about Talent, Innovation, and Strategy in PM Future and Overall Accommodations of Updated PM.

In the second part, he lectured about future development tendency of Project Management.
Prof. Shaopei Lin introduced and developed the following points:
- System Analysis and Structured Approach;
- Business Mode under Internet Era and Knowledge Economy;
- Sustainable Development of Successful Enterprise under Knowledge Economy;
- Case Study --- E-commerce and Logistics;
- Future Development Tendency of Project Management

Dr. Lin Shaopei is a Professor at the Civil Engineering Department in Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China; Fellow and Chartered Engineer of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE, UK) and CEO of ICE China Education and Training Center.
Among his scientific awards are the Lifetime Achievement Award of PMI (China) in 2012, the Excellent Service Award of ICE in 2015 and the Service Achievement Award of PMI GAC in 2016.

During past 60 years, he published eight books and 200 papers in national and international journals and conferences covering a variety of research topics in engineering, economics, computational mechanics, computer application, fuzzy mathematics and artificial intelligence.
