University of Utrecht's delegation visited HIT
30 students and faculty members from the Computer Science and Information Science departments in the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands, visited HIT as guests of the R&D and external affairs authority.
The delegation's major interest was IoT activities that take place on campus, as part of the multi-disciplinary centers such as (CARE, MADE and cyber).
The speakers on behalf of HIT were Dr. Barkan, head of the R&D and external affairs authority, Dr. Menashri, in charge of Cyber at HIT and Dr. Denil Umansky, academic director of MADE lab. Mr. Yossi Zaguri, head of the I.T.C. talked about IoT in the industry.
The visitors said that they had a very good and interesting and fruitful time and that the visit helped them see Israel in a different light than is shown in the media.
The visit was concluded with the agreement that the R&D authority will establish an academic-research based relationship with the Computer Science and Information Science departments at Utrecht university , enhancing the IoT field, as part of the Earasmus + initiatives.
