Dr. Ilan Goldfajn
Economist Dr. Ilan Goldfajn is currently Director of the Western Hemisphere Department at the International Monetary Fund and past Governor of the Central Bank of Brazil.
As a man of vision and action, he has been a strong supporter of investing in technological education and integrating it into school curriculum as early as the elementary grade level. According to Dr. Goldfajn, this is a critical stage for developing a generation of hi-tech and industrial leaders.
His personal vision is echoed in HIT's core values, which are dedicated to making higher education accessible to all segments of society. By establishing advanced teaching platforms and applied multidisciplinary research, and using these tools to develop curriculum for the best and brightest youth, HIT shares Dr. Goldfajn's commitment to education and social welfare.
