Dr. Boris Lembrikov specializes in optical communications, nano particles, nonlinear optics, and physics of semiconductor devices. He published about 40 papers in the peer-reviewed International scientific journal such as Physical Review B, Nano Letters, IEEE Journal of Quantum Electronics, IEEE Photonic Technology Letters, etc., the monograph "Electrodynamics of Magnetoactive Media" (Springer, 2004), and 8 chapters in different scientific books. He was also a scientific editor of two books related to the field of Communications.
Dr. Boris Lembrikov actively participates in the reviewing of the manuscripts in IEEE Journal of Quantum Electronics, IEEE Photonics Technology Letters, IEEE Photonics Journal, Physics Letters A, Optical and Quantum Electronics, IEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Quantum Electronics,
International Journal of Optics and Applications, Applied Optics.
Dr. Boris Lembrikov completed his PH.D. in the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, in the Nonlinear Optics of Liquid Crystals. Then he was occupied as a researcher at the Haifa University, and later on at the High Magnetic Fields Laboratory of the Max Planck Institute, Grenoble, France. He returned to Israel and taught at the Technion, at the Ruppin Academic Center. Then, he joined the Faculty of Engineering of the Holon Institute of Technology (HIT). He also for some time taught as an invited lecturer at the Sami Shamoun Engineering Center in Ashdod.

He was also a scientific editor of two books related to the field of Communications.
Dr. Boris Lembrikov participated as an invited speaker in a large number of the International Scientific Conferences such as IEEE International Conference on Ultra-Wideband (ICUWB 2008), Hannover, Germany; International Conferences on Transparent Optical Networks (ICTON 8-14, 2006-2012); IEEE 27th Convention of Electrical and Electronics Engineers in Israel, 2012, etc. Dr. Boris Lembrikov actively participates in fundamental and applied researches. He successfully participated in research projects such as: (i) nano particle properties investigation (the mutual project of the Weizmann Institute and the Department of Chemistry of the Technion), (ii) optical fiber communications (the project of HIT and the ECI industrial company), (iii) radio-over-optical fiber technology (International Project UROOF where HIT cooperated with a number of European Universities and Companies).

- St. Petersburg, Russia.
- Then, he received his PhD degree in 1996, at the Department of Chemistry, Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.
- Dr. Boris Lembrikov completed his postdoctoral researches in 1996-1997, at the Institute of Evolution, Haifa University.
