Dr. Hen Friman received his Ph.D. and Master's degree from Bar-Ilan University, the master research was the "Examination the effect of the cytolytic protein Cyt1Aa on prokaryote cells" and the Ph.D. research "Energy Generation from Aromatic Compounds Degrading Bacteria Using "Bio-Fuel Cells".

Since 2012 Dr. Friman is a researcher and lecturer at the Faculty of engineering. Currently serving as academic director of Renewable Energy & Smart Grid Excellence Center in H.I.T - Holon Institute Of Technology.
