Orna Kopolovich is a Senior lecturer at Holon Institute of Technology (H.I.T.), Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Technology Management and Faculty of Instructional Technologies. She is member of the Board of Trustees and of the Supreme Academic Council, at H.I.T. and also the Advisor to the President for Gender equity in academia.
Her research focuses on Negotiation Management and Business Innovation, specifically from an applied perspective and technological orientation. The primary subjects discussed in her work are International Business Negotiation Management, both in-person and online, as well as negotiating as part of technology management with cultural, legal and gender aspects. She is also the Head of Center for Negotiation management and Business Innovation at HIT.
Orna won an award from the Higher Academic Council in Israel for the creation of a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on Negotiation (2018). In addition, she developed research-based technological systems and tools to improve management processes.
Orna has over twenty years of experience in her field, she holds four academic degrees and an Israeli Law practice license and license for Professional Mediation, as well as a Certificate in Negotiation Leadership from Harvard Law School Executive Education Program on Negotiation.
As part of Orna’s public activities in the fields of technological innovation and gender equality, Orna is the Israel's representative in the Council of the European Union, Gender in Research and Innovation Committee. she is also a member of the Academic Committee under the Israeli Council for the Advancement of Women in Science and Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology. Likewise, In HIT, Orna established two innovative programs for female leadership in technology.
