Prof. Gila Kurtz, Dean of the Faculty of Instructional Technologies, was recently invited to serve as a visiting fellow at the Weizenbaum Institute for the Networked Society in Berlin.

Prof. Kurtz was invited to join a research group focused on education in the digital age, led by Prof. Ing. Norbert Gronau, Head of the Department of Information Systems at the University of Potsdam.
Prof. Kurtz's research focuses on evaluating the integration of AI into higher education and its implications for academic faculty and students.
This prestigious research institute brings together nine German universities to examine the social transformations emerging from the integration of digital technologies.
"I returned to Israel encouraged by the warm welcome, both professional and personal, and by the new research partnerships that were formed, particularly with the institute's director, Prof. Neuberger," said Prof. Kurtz upon her return. "Our shared dialogue on integrating AI into education systems makes one thing abundantly clear: this is a critical, global challenge, and our ability to work together across borders is essential."
