Waiting for you at home
An installation at HIT Holon Institute of Technology presents the names and faces of the Israeli hostages held by Hamas ISIS in Gaza.
On regular days, the auditorium in building six at HIT is filled with students and staff who come to attend large departmental classes and conferences.
Today, the seats are taken by posters of women, men, elderly, children, and babies - whom Hamas ISIS kidnapped on the horrible Shabbat on October 7th.
Next to the children’s photos, dolls and soft toys were placed as a symbolic prayer for their quick return home.
In addition, the Institute joined many other large organizations and companies and lowered all Israeli flags on campus to half-mast.
Together with the sincere hope for the return of all the Israeli hostages, HIT mourns all the soldiers and civilians who were murdered by the terrorists and those who were killed on the battlefield defending our homeland, either as civilians or on military duty. Our hearts go to the relatives and family members of our students and graduates who lost their lives in the terrible events of October 7th, 2023.
May they all rest in peace!
