Dear Academic and Administrative staff, dear Students!

I'd like to congratulate you on the beginning of the new academic year.

This year about 4,500 students will attend HIT in our undergraduate and graduate programs and about 1000 students in our preparatory programs.

HIT is one of the leading most dynamic institution in Israel's higher education system. Ever since its establishment, about 50 years ago, it continues to qualify engineers, designers, scientists and technology experts, which successfully become part of the Hi-Tech industry in Israel and abroad.

We will continue to foster excellence in teaching, research and creation, to develop and expand collaborations with the industry and community. We are proud to be part of the "Israeli Hope "initiative in the academy, which reflects HIT's vision aiming at making higher education accessible to all walks of Israeli society.

Dear Academic and Administrative staff, I'm proud and appreciative of the vast activities you're engaged in.

In order to qualify the future generation, to advance applied research and creation and to position HIT in the forefront of academia in Israel and abroad.

You are a source of great pride to us due to the large number of winnings in funding and grants from prestigious funds, national and international funds.

Dear students, we regard you as the center of our activities and put at your disposal a full support array which includes advanced teaching means, advanced labs and multidisciplinary research and excellence centers, top equipped library and smart classrooms.

During your studies we'll make sure that you will acquire innovative tools for creative thinking and for team work abilities, while aspiring to excellence and creativity.
At your disposal are incentives and scholarships in order to enable you to study at HIT and in return take part in community activities which contribute to the integration of HIT in its community and surroundings.

We work tirelessly to see to it that your academic years will be a pleasant and special experience and we will be happy to supply you with all your needs so that you can use your potential to the fullest, while being here at HIT.

Upon completion of your studies you'll join our 13,000 graduates who are successfully integrated into various key positions in the industry.
