First prize awarded to HIT in the "Outstanding Computing" Competition for 2020
The Institute's Computer Center won the "Outstanding Computing" Competition for 2020, in the 'Outstanding Projects in Technology Education- Academy' category, held by "People & Computers" group.

HIT's Project - Upgrading IT Infrastructure No. 505 has won the "Outstanding Computing" Competition for 2020, which was held by the "People and Computers" group.
The prize was awarded in the presence of hundreds of representatives from other participating organizations, and was received by Mr. Gal Steinhart, Chief Technology and Systems Officer at HIT.
"This is the implementation of an innovative infrastructure system of a series of services in a Hyper Converge configuration, which enables flexibility while meeting changing needs.

Upon receiving the award, Mr. Steinhart said: "With the outbreak of the Corona crisis, the computer center at HIT knew how to respond very quickly and within a day the entire institute moved to online teaching, thanks to the infrastructure that is enabling the incitement of resources to meet changing demands.
