Delegation from the Chelyabinsk region (Russia) visited HIT

Delegation from the Chelyabinsk region (Russia) headed by Mr. Kuznetsov, Minister of Education visited HIT.

The delegation members included: Mr. Kuznetsov Alexander. Minister of Education and Science of Chelyabinsk Region, MD.Volchegorskii Ilia, Rector of South Ural State Medical University, Mr. Bolshakov Alexander, Director of South Ural Multidisciplinary College, Mr.Gontarev Evgenii ,Director of Chelyabinsk Motor Transport Secondary Technical School, Mr. Andriushchenko Andrei, Director of Chelyabinsk Mechanical and Technological Secondary Technical School, Mr. Sidorov Victor, Director of Zlatoust Industrial Collegenamed after P.P.Anosov and  Mr. Dzhergenia Mikhail, First Secretary of the Embassy of Russia.

The guests were welcomed by Prof. David Shoikhet, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Yakov Damatov, academically responsible for the computer labs at the Faculty of Sciences, and Mrs. Tony Levy, External Relations Officer.

The guests were given a detailed review of the various research and academic activities that take place at HIT and showed great interest especially in the Youth Academic Programs and the preparatory studies.

The guests visited the Robotics lab, the Laboratory for synthesis and investigation of nanomaterials and the Electronic Microscope.

Mr. Alexander Kuznetsov, said in his conclusion words that this visit will help establish academic ties between HIT and relevant academic institution in his region and will help develop strong relations between both countries.
