H.E. Mr. Gilles Arnout Beschoor Plug, Ambassador of the Netherlands in Israel visited HIT
The ambassador was welcomed by Prof. Eduard Yakubov, President of HIT, Prof. David Shoikhet, Vice President for Academic Affirs, Mr. Samuel Goldberg HIT's CEO, Dr. Refael Barkan Head of R&D and External Affairs authority, Dr. Guy Yoskovitz ,Deputy Director of R&D and External Affairs Authority, Dr. Daniil Umanski co-founder and Academic Director of MADE Lab in HIT and Mrs. Tony Levy External Relations Officer HIT.
Prof .Eduard Yakubov said in his greeting words that HIT is looking forward to deepen and expand the strong ties between Academic institutions in the Netherlands and HIT, and that the strong ties between Israel and Holland will benefit from this aspect too.
H.E. Mr. Gilles Arnout Beschoor Plug: Israel is a diverse society. Holland welcomed over hundreds of years many many Jewish communities and we know how this can enrich the country .We can further broaden our good relations and offer the assistance in the areas of Digital Health, Homeland Security, Elderly care, Computer Sciences and more. We must further deepen and strengthen our strong bilateral relations with HIT through future mutual visits."
The ambassador was given a detailed review of HIT's background from its early days as well as of the academic and research work that is conducted in all its faculties. He visited some of its major labs and research centers.
