An article which is based on the final project of Tal Zanzury and Bar Baruch Ben Zaken, both students at the Faculty of Engineering at HIT, mentored by Dr. Dror Malka, was published in the prestigious "Materials" magazine.

A formal delegation from Sinclair College, Ohio, visited HIT in order to discuss potential collaboration with HIT in various fields specifically related to UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle). Delegation members included: Deborah L. Norris, Senior Vice President, Workforce Development & Corporate Services and Dr. Andrew Shepherd, Head of Sinclair UAS Program.

Mrs. Marcia Kelner Polisuk heads the Latin America chapter of the largest Jewish students' organization in the world, "Hillel". According to her, there is a noticeable increase among students in Latin America to make Aliya to Israel and get accepted to Israeli academic institutions.

Roi Lesnik and Idan Mizrahi, 3rd year students at the Electrical engineering department in HIT, take part in a project at "Motorola" which is aimed at finding a solution to reducing the radiation absorption in the head of the cellular device user.

HIT and the Israeli culture Center in St. Petersburg, Russia collaborated in a unique exhibition that was presented at St. Petersburg and was curated by 3 members HIT's Faculty of Design academic staff members

Mr. Sebastien Linden, Scientific and Academic Attaché to the Embassy of France in Israel visited HIT on a formal visit.

Dr. Refael Barkan, head of HIT's R&D and External Relations Authority, had recently returned from Britain, following a successful visit as part of IAS Fellowship at Warwick University

HIT's faculty of design was chosen to represent Israel at TWDW –Taiwan Design Week 2016 which opens on Sept. 23rd.
