Economic-Commercial Attaché in the embassy of Kazakhstan in Israel, visited HIT
Mr. Yermek Katrenov The Economic-Commercial Attaché in the embassy of Kazakhstan in Israel visited Hit as preparation for the future visit of the Kazakh Minister of Education and Sciences, Mr. Yerlan Sagadiev, in HIT.
The guest was welcomed by Prof. Eduard Yakubov, President of HIT and Mrs.Tony Levy, HIT's President's assistance for External Affairs

A tour at the robotics lab
Prof. Yakubov reviewed the various activities that take place in HIT especially applied research, and stressed HIT's multidisciplinary programs and the strong ties that exist between HIT and the industry, saying that the students can start working and gain professional experience in the industry already during their studies, and that they can often do their final projects in the work place.
The guest visited Hit's labs and was given detailed explanations about the research and work that is being done there. At the Nano-Materials lab, he had met Dr. Saptarshi Ghosh – post doc student from India, who is doing his research work there under the guidance of Prof. Alla Zak.
Upon completion of the tour, it was agreed that the prospect visit of the Kazakh Minister of Education and Sciences in HIT, will deal mainly with expanding the academic collaboration between HIT and academic institutions in Kazahstan in these fields:
E-Learning, FinTech, Programming, Cyber, Big Data, Digital Health and Design.
