Mrs. And Mr. Aboudi visit HIT

Gloria and Wilson Abudi are old friends of the Institute and make sure to donate each year scholarships to students participating in the "Academia Plus" program.

Once every two years, the couple arrives in Israel and makes sure to visit the Institute where they are updated about the Institute's achievements in research and future plans, involvement in the community and meeting with students.

The guests were welcomed by Prof. Eduard Yakubov, President of the Institute, Prof. David Shoikhet, Vice President, Dr. Refael Barkan, Director of the Research, Development and External Relations Authority, Dr. Yulia Einav, Dean of Students and Mr. Samuel Goldberg, HIT'S CEO and the student Shmuel Finkelstein

The visit ended with a tour of the design workshops, the laboratories of the Faculty of Sciences and the 3D laboratory.

The Aboudi couple are members of the Marjuri and Sasson Peretz families, who also donate scholarships and years ago donated the amount to the construction of Building 7
