The 1st International Soft Skills Academy for staff
Following the success of the 1st International Soft Skills Academy for students, HIT's International Office, HIT's Center of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (FutureHIT) and the Hellenic Mediterranean University (HMU), Greece, decided to run the 1st International Soft Skills Academy for staff. With a content adapted to researchers, academic and administrative staff, the Academy took place between January 18th and February 4th 2021.

It offered a range of lectures such as "how to develop international research collaboration", "understanding intellectual property: strategy and management", "emotional intelligence in business context" and more.
The 1st International Soft Skills Academy for staff recorded close to 1,100 registrations; totaling 400 participants, from 18 countries and 77 institutions.
HIT and HMU will keep on running this program throughout this academic year and beyond. It will seek to provide thousands of students and staff from all over the world with the missing soft skills so dearly needed in today's world.
This initiative comes in the frame of the internationalization of HIT and of its internationalization at home process.
