Third-year Internship

Third-year students are required to choose one of the two internships:
  1. Information Technology Track - Its graduates will be able to integrate into the biomedical and informational industries, in the role of medical information analytics and as "applied technology mediators" between the worlds of technological and biomedical knowledge, as explained above; In addition to the compulsory courses in the program that gives a solid foundation in information technology in medicine (35 credits), students in this track will take advanced courses of 18.5 credits, such as visualization of biomedical information, seminar in medical informatics, biomedical data, introduction For natural language processing, deep learning in medical imaging, data communication, and information security, cloud computing.

    This is, as mentioned, in addition to another 10 credits of choice, which can be taken from the field of advanced information technology (as well as from other fields). 

    A graduate of this course can study for advanced degrees in data science and bioinformatics, under the necessary complements
  2. Medical Science Track - Aims to train its graduates to compete for admissions to medical studies in the four-year track, alongside a substance information technology that provides an advantage in understanding one of the most important elements today in research and health care - data-oriented care (data-driven care).

    In addition to the compulsory courses in the program that provides a solid foundation in medical sciences (36.5 credits), students in this track will take advanced courses of 18.5 credits, such as: a physician-patient discourse in the digital age, aspects of the psychology of illness and disability, introduction to neuroscience and cognition, Systems Anatomy and Physiology, Drug Treatment in the Digital Age, Third and Fourth Age Challenges in the Digital Age, Living Lab for the Development of Third and Fourth Age Technologies, Analysis and Decision Making in the Medical World. 

    This, as mentioned, in addition to another 10 credits of choice, which can be taken from the field of medical sciences (as well as from other fields). 

 

The students are aimed to study a certain amount of Multi-Disciplinary courses at the Department of Multidisciplinary Studies.
