Prof. David Perry, Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Technology Management at HIT, and an expert in Applied Mathematics, has received a grant of 600,000NIS from the Israel Science Foundation, jointly with Prof. Offer Kella from the Hebrew University. Prof. Perry's research focuses on developing smart mathematical models to facilitate the analysis and management of complex systems, specifically inventory, queuing, and insurance risks.

Prof. Eugene Kanzieper, a mathematical physicist from the School of Mathematical Sciences at HIT, has received a grant of 900,000NIS from the Israel Science Foundation for a four-year research project on the "magical world of random matrices".

Dr. Mali Sher (Principal researcher) from the Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Technology Management has received a two-year grant together with Prof. Itzhak Benenson from Tel Aviv University, to research road safety of electric scooters, based on spatial knowledge of road infrastructure and data from shared e-scooter companies.
